In the "old days" prior to all the development the South Easter supposedly used to blow the sand into the sea at Llandudno and it would then come back to Hout Bay beach on the current. Well, interfere with nature and this is what can happen.

I have a huge concern for Hout Bay, when I came to Cape Town in December 1998 I fell in love with this beautiful little village.
Over the last fourteen years the number of trees has reduced dramatically and development continues, have the new buildings in Victoria Road added or detracted from the village.
